WK02 Rock, Paper, Scissors Concept Phase

This post will consist of the thumbnails I drew up for the Rock, Paper, Scissors concept required for our first project. Also included will be a few graphics that I researched and thought were pretty cool to add to the project.
To the left is an image of my ten thumbnail drawings for the project. I tried to keep them as simple as possible while still allowing the concepts of each drawing to come forth. I am not looking to do a real elaborate scheme thats why the only thumbnail that would be overly detailed is the one on the top right. I like the first two I drew and I'm strongly considering between them because of the balance that they have. I feel it visually appealing to flow from left to right and possibly start with an initial image before the actual writing and then contrast it below with writing and then another image and vice versa for the second thumbnail.

The images to the right are of the research that I did for a logos or pictures in my project. I tried to stick with a simple black and white image because I like the way they look together. I like the ones that portray the actual rules of the game where paper beats rock, rock beats scissors, and scissors beats paper. With that being said I am leaning towards the top left and bottom right images. But my decision is not set in stone so I can always choose one of the others if I feel the need to. I am looking forward to the constructive criticism so I can come to a solid conclusion to help me finish this project successfully.

  2. Vinny DeStefano- i really like the abstract art scale of black and white, instead of always being flashy.

  3. i like how you kept it simple, rock paper scissors is not a hard game, so nice job making it easy to understand.

  4. I like how you are keeping the flyer as a simple layout, since RPS isn't complex and it usually is used for more casual problems. The classical look of black and white is also very nice for how simple the game is.
